Hollywood actor, Keanu Reeves, suffered damage to his motorcycle when a driver ran into it in a parking lot.
Reeves was running errands in Los Angeles on his classic Norton Commando 750. He parked outside of a medical building. When he returned, he learned that a woman driving a Mercedes had backed into it.
Police were called to the scene, and Reeves and the woman exchanged insurance and contact info. Witnesses described Reeves as remaining very calm. The motorcycle suffered only minor damage, and after an inspection, Reeves was able to safely ride away. No one was hurt during the incident and police did not issue any citations.
Reeves has been an avid motorcycle enthusiast for quite some time. He has reportedly been in a number of motorcycle accidents, including one that caused him to lose his spleen in 1998. In another accident, he got up off the ground, bleeding, and with a flap of skin hanging off his shin. A bystander approached him and asked for his autograph.
Reeves has reported that the Norton Commando is one of his favorite bikes.
